Lots of Love, JollyShandy♥ Friday, April 24, 2009 study harder! supp! ;D whoo. glad to know that you guys think that history class is getting better! i mean, i agree, comparing it with the first day with ms yap. we were MONKEYS. haha. but yeah, keep it up. the more you concentrate, the better you do for tests or examinations. i don't really know what to say. and btw, all the best for MYE. study hard and strive for the best okay? do mr michael proud! he has so much hope in us and do not give him false hopes just like that. make him see that we're putting it alot of effort to make 1/6 the best class. besides, thats what you guys want right? and also, the holidays are just around the corner. just endure for a little while more and you can relax your butt off till term 3 come in. hmm, so how's this week? okay, lets talk about tests shall we? lets start with history test. the actually one, as in the second test was easy. i can assure you that. but, in order for it to be easy, seriously, you gotta read up. the textbook is there for a reason and especially the noted ms yap gives us. i'm not those genius type who is really good in a subject but i just do alot of reading up. thats why i get top for history tests. why don't you try? give yourself a different mindset. tell yuorself that you wanna get good grades. and in order for that to happen, you can't be lazy to study. you get the benefit at the end. one more thing. for goodness sake, do not cheat in tests! that's the worst thing ever you know. trust me, you won't feel good. its like getting fake marks. well, i think i'll just have to end my post here. Keep studying alright , you know you can do it if you try . Btw, just to let all of you know , during our 1 month holiday(june), We're planning a chalet . (: today was blue ribbon day and i hope ya'll had a meaningful time out there, asking for donations. i know, its real tough. but everyone has a part to play right? haha. well, as for me, i'll share what happened today okay? (: today, at about 7.20. i arrived at the school hall. everything was pretty boring to be honest. there's alot and i say ALOT of talking. but if you listen its quite interesting. after all the talking and prize giving, the choir members sang two songs. btw, to all choir members, that was awesome. (: after the whole ceremony, we went to collect out tins and waited for some friends. we went to jurong point and reached there at about 12.00 pm. then started collecting money. at first i was afraid. but the next thing you know, i was not afraid of being rejected. i was actually chasing after people, asking for donations. and as expected, most of them would either walk away as if your some lamp post, say no, say "i'm sorry" or just smile at you. you gotta agree with me right? so yeah, eventually, the more generous people donated and i collected more then some of my friends who started at 7am and with me, starting at 12pm. 5 hours of collection is ALOT. i left the place at about 2 and my tin was about half filled in two hours. of course, i was tired. so i slept in the bus. hehe. ;D so that's what happened for my blue ribbon day. maybe some of ya'll should share what happened to you today. i'd be looking forward to reading more of your entries regarding your experience on blue ribbon day. We come to school to study right? I promise you if youh all dont talk, You all can listen better in class, Get higher grades, Wont get detention, wont get the lights & fan off, wont listen to rulers banging on table, Shoutings of teacher, Greeen form & so on.
